Family Support Groups
Connect with understanding parents in local or online support groups for helpful coping strategies and guidance.

Connect with Parents Who Understand Your Journey
If you’re raising a child with a special health need or disability, you might feel isolated—but you don’t have to be alone. We’ve compiled a list of local, social, and online support groups to help you connect with other parents who truly understand your experience. When you join a support group, you’ll find a welcoming space to share concerns, celebrate successes, problem-solve challenges, and gain helpful coping strategies. As one facilitator said, sometimes people just need “a hand to hold, an ear to listen, and a heart to understand them.” If you’re inspired to start your own group, please call us; we’re happy to guide you. Remember, we also offer free 1:1 parent matches in Vermont and nationally through Parent to Parent USA for more individualized support.
