Vermont Respite Fund
Financial help is available for families with children up to age 19 facing chronic conditions or hardships.

See If Your Family Qualifies for Funding
We understand that raising a child with special health needs can be challenging, and you may be eligible for financial help through this program. If your child is up to age 19 and has a chronic physical, medical, mental, or developmental condition, you may qualify for funding. This support may also be available if your family is facing destabilizing “special needs” like economic hardships or homelessness, or if you are waiting for a diagnosis. Additionally, relative caregivers, parents of adopted children, or parents/caregivers with a disability who have a child living at home may be eligible. To learn more about how to apply and find out if this funding is right for your family, please call our helpline at 802-876-5315.
